Inside Paws HQ - October
What a month at Paws in Work; World Mental Health Day, double puppy therapy event days, four litters of puppies on our socialisation program, and a whole lot of happy attendees getting lots of puppy cuddles. We even got a visit in the office from our founder, Ashley’s dog Margot - the face of Paws in Work!
October had many new arrivals, new starters, new litters, and a very special new arrival at Paws HQ. Find out what goes on behind the scenes at the best job in the world - we might be biased!
Welcome to the pack.
The Paws in Work pack grew again this month, 3 new starters joined in October and we’re so excited to have them on board. We welcomed Megan and Mimi, the newest event hosts on the event team! They will be running the puppy therapy sessions and facilitating all the puppy cuddles (whilst getting a few cuddles themselves!).
Megan (yes, another Megan on the team) is our new Breeder account manager. Megan will be working closely with our ethical breeder partners to ensure the puppies continue to have the best time on our socialisation program and remain the number one priority at our events.

World Mental Health Day 2022.
For this years World Mental Day on the 10th October, we ran a day of topic talk surrounding ill mental health. The discussion-based talks, hosted by one of our mental health first aid trainers, covered anxiety, depression and self-care. It allowed staff to take away some invaluable tools and tricks to implement in both their personal and work life.
It's now more important than ever to have discussions surrounding ill mental health and create a better life for people (and pups!).

a new arrival.
Paws in Work celebrated a very special new arrival in September. Our founder Ashley welcomed son Ronnie to the world, it’s safe to say that the Fry family (including English Bulldog Margot) are completely in love.
We can’t wait to meet him and it won’t be long before he’s in the summer garden covered in puppies!
New litter alert!
At Paws in Work, we’ve worked with 19 different types of breeds of dogs over the past 4 years. This October, we were very excited to welcome the 20th breed: a loveable litter of English Bulldogs. It’s safe to say that the Paws in Work team were completely in love with all 6 pups and by the end of the week were all huge English Bulldog fans - I mean look at them!
If you've got a litter of puppies you’d like to join our socialisation program, get in touch today.
Wellbeing day.
We practice what we preach here at Paws in Work and employee wellbeing is at the forefront of what we do, that's why we encourage staff to take a day to themselves once a quarter. The first wellbeing day saw some of the event team (Genevieve, Megan and Megan) take to the lanes and have a game or two of bowling - paired with some delicious drinks. It was the perfect way to relax on a Monday after an incredibly busy quarter.
And lastly, our favourite pic of the month...
Rebecca's anniversary gift
