Inside Paws HQ - February
2023 is in full swing and we’re back for another edition of Inside Paws, going behind the scenes at the best job in the world!
We had the absolute pleasure of working with 5 different litters in February, including two new breeds to Paws in Work, you can meet the loveable Labradoodles and gorgeous Pocket Bullies below. We also welcomed Cavapoos (a firm favourite amongst the staff), some cheeky Pugs and a litter of Frenchies named after 80’s artists; yes there was a puppy called Lionel.
We can’t forget the face of Paws in Work Margot who popped in for a visit at our HQ, our hearts aren’t just melted by puppies!
Meet our new litters!
We have now worked with over 25 breeds at Paws in Work, who have all graduated from our puppy socialisation programme with the best start to life possible. It’s always a special occasion when we get to meet a new breed and this month we got to meet 2.
Working alongside our ethical breeder partners, we welcomed a lively litter of Labradoodles to our puppy therapy events. We also socialised a litter of Pocket Bullies who we nicknamed after Looney Toon characters - a fan favourite was definitely Tweety!
Welcome to the pack
Welcome Chloë! The Paws in Work family is continuing to grow and we’ve now welcomed our first Mental Health Manager to the pack. Chloë will be managing all of our Mental Health Training, from our one-off masterclasses to our MHFAider© courses.
If you want to incorporate Mental Health training into your employee wellbeing strategy, enquire today.
Meet our Mental Health trainers
We had 2 very special guests at our puppy therapy sessions this month, our mental health trainers Olivia and Ashley.
Our Gold puppy therapy package includes 2 of our bespoke Masterclasses (delivered either online or in person) by our Mental Health trainers. Olivia and Ashley couldn't help popping in for some puppy cuddles after delivering their Masterclasses - we don't blame them. It's safe to say they had a great time, the smiles say it all!
Puppy Socialisation
As part of our ongoing mission to create a better life for people and pups, our team recently enrolled in Pupstarts Breeder Level 2 in Principles of Puppy Socialisation. Stay tuned for more information on how this will be applied to our events.

Overheard at Paws
Not only do we get to meet litters of puppies every single week (yes, we know it's a dream!) we also get to meet lots of happy attendees during our puppy therapy events. We hear some of the best comments ever, so we put together a compilation of some of our favourites. Watch now and let us make your day.
P.s you might want to send this to your boss, you could be one of these lucky attendees soon!
Support dogs Anniversary
Our founder Ashley and director Adam were invited to celebrate Supports Dogs' 30th Anniversary at The Kennel Club.
Support Dogs is a national charity dedicated to increasing independence and quality of life for people with various medical conditions and we at Paws in Work are proud partners.
More than ever donations are needed, and with the cost of living increasing, these donations are becoming harder and harder to come by.
Please consider donating today, big or small and help support these amazing dogs that change lives for so many.
And lastly, our favourite photo of the month...
