what job do beans and robbie do? Animation, beans is my intern!
what was her first day in the office like? Since the Covid-19 lockdown, my office has been in my girlfriend's bedroom. Beans was initially confused why everyone was home but was happy to have the company and get all the attention during online meetings.
how often does beans go to the office? Beans hates not being the centre of attention, so will sit on my lap almost all day while I’m working, lying her head on my keyboard and trying to distract me from my work!
what is her favourite thing to do in the office? She loves meeting my colleagues dogs during video chat meetings... Almost every meeting starts with all the dogs saying hello before we get down to business.
does beans like sharing her office space? I think she does... probably because of the unlimited amounts of human company she’s getting!
other than you (of course) who is her favourite colleague? Her best friend is Della, my manager's cockapoo who she says hello to on webcam every morning.
how has having beans at work improved the working environment? Working from home can be hard and video call meetings can be awkward. Having beans around helps keep me in good spirits during work hours and making sure I take little breaks to play with her. Having her on my lap is also a good ice-breaker during awkward silences on video call meetings.
does beans ever get up to mischief/any embarrassing office stories? I once took beans to my real office before the lockdown, and she marked her territory on my manager's rucksack (pee’d on it!)
paws in home bonus question! how is beans coping with the UK on lockdown? She might be missing her 2 walks a day, as we can only give her 1 with the new government rules but other than that she’s still full of Beans!
